Before & After Surgery
Prior to your pet’s surgery, we will perform an examination before administering anesthesia. We also highly recommend that your pet has blood work done prior to the procedure to detect any potential underlying issues. We want to ensure the surgery goes as smoothly as possible.
Following the procedure, we will monitor your pet until the anesthesia wears off and they are fully awake. In most cases, he or she will be released the same day. In some instances, they may require additional monitoring. We’ll discuss how the surgery went with you, what you should expect, and the proper post-surgical care you should provide.
